Intelligent optimizing functions for your lift

There are many benefits of a correctly parameterized lift. As well as providing optimum ride quality at high handling capacities and short waiting and deceleration times, the energy consumption can be significantly lowered and the wear and tear of lift components reduced.

Most state-of-the-art lift control systems are matched to the specific lift and already pre-parameterized, but there are also settings that can only be adjusted when the lift is in operation. This not only requires an excellent knowledge of the control system and the components used, but also of the specific lift traffic volume. The commissioning engineer needs to have the time to analyse these factors and take them into consideration when making adjustments.

Kollmorgen has recognised this situation and developed software functions for lift control systems that automatically optimise the lifts performance. These MPK IQ functions have been integrated into the software of the Kollmorgen MPK control systems, which can be activated through the control system menu after commissioning.
