MPC 4

Advanced concept – Decentralized, serial control technology

MPC 4 covers almost the entire bandwidth of sophisticated high range lift control systems up to 8 car groups with absolute encoding and high travel speeds. This puts us in the position to offer a hightech solution for almost every type of lift. The control processor is particularly characterized by its flexible construction and the serial communication between the machine room and cabin, as well as the serial integration of the shaft information. All components used are either produced in our own electronic production facility or are procured from well-known suppliers.

Unitrail Hanging Cable

The control system, the COP, shaft installation, and the hanging cable are connected to each other with a pre-wired plug-in cable. All of the electrical equipment is pre-fabricated and tested at our location, and it is delivered as a complete package. Optionally, the MPC 4 can also be used in the area of OEM.

Serial Interface

In addition to the conventional control capabilities of a frequency regulator, the MPC 4 offers the possibility to control compatible converters by way of a standardized serial protocol (DCP 3 or 4), which was developed by us as a joint project with several frequency converter manufacturers. This makes the often-requested direct gateway possible. Furthermore, with DCP 3 and DCP 4, error and event messages from the converter are transmitted to the control display. The parameter settings of the frequency regulator can be comfortably controlled with the control system, or of course with telecommunications systems, like the remote surveillance and lift maintenance functions.
