Kollmorgen Shaft Light (KSL)

The Kollmorgen shaft lighting system was specially designed to meet the guidelines of EN 81-1/2, and it also corresponds to the norms pertaining to brightness and mounting distance between lamps. The lighting system is particularly characterized by its easy assembly. According to EN 81-1/2, the use of lighting in lift shafts is required and the brightness of such is regulated. The Kollmorgen shaft lighting system is simple and quick to assemble, and in addition it is extremely affordable

The design of the customized shaft lighting occurs by way of the proven PC shaft installation assistant. The user simply inputs the height of the shaft, and the software automatically calculates the required quantity of lamps and the distance between them. Kollmorgen constructs the corresponding lighting system precisely according to this data. For this purpose, a newly designed clamp system is used, which enables the KSL to be economically and flexibly designed.

The finished lighting set is delivered complete with pre-fabricated cables, lamps, and the necessary connection materials for installation. The lights are attached to the shaft by way of slotted holes in the lamps. The lamp does not have to be opened for assembly. After the installation, the light bulbs merely have to be connected to the voltage supply and the system is ready for use. Therefore the KSL system offers you inexpensive shaft lighting in conjunction with the usual high quality of Kollmorgen.
